Special Cash Handout for Childbirth and Childrearing
Overview
Ginowan City is implementing the "Ginowan City Consultation Support and Parent-Child Support Aid" scheme which integrates consultation support to provide counseling from pregnancy to childbirth and childrearing, and a monetary gift to reduce the financial burden of pregnant women and childrearing families.
Consultation Support
The consultation service aims to provide valuable information and the necessary support to expectant mothers and childrearing households during pregnancy to childbirth and childrearing. When required, the city will also connect families in need with the appropriate services.
Sessions
Sessions will take place:
- When a notification of pregnancy is submitted
- At the 8-month mark of pregnancy
- When a registration of birth is submitted

The (expectant) mother's partner/spouse and cohabiting family member(s) may also participate in the consultation session.

*There is no income limit for the cash payments.
*Only registered residents of Ginowan are eligible.
*Individuals that have already received the handout from another municipality are not eligible.
As a transitional measure, those who submitted a notification of pregnancy or registration of birth between APR-1-2022 and the day the scheme begins will also be eligible to receive the handout as long as they submit an application and complete a survey. These individuals will be notified of the specific requirements by mail.
