The 37th Ginowan City Local Industries Festival 2026

The 37th Ginowan City Industry Festival will be held over two days: Saturday, November 21, and Sunday, November 22, 2026.

The festival will feature a wide array of attractions! In addition to the sale of local agricultural and marine products, as well as goods manufactured by businesses within the city, there will be a livestock exhibition (featuring cattle and goats), a traditional Okinawan goat-clashing event (hijaa-orase), a fish-catching activity (a huge hit with children!), a "working vehicles" display, and hands-on woodworking workshops. Furthermore, for the first time at this festival, we will host a "Wood Education Caravan"—an interactive space featuring wooden toys, supported by the Forest Environment Tax—along with tastings of diamondback squid (sode-ika) and sea grapes (umi-budō), and a "stuff-your-bag" full of vegetable challenge!

This year, our sister city, Iwakuni City, will also be showcasing its own local specialties—don't miss it!

On the main stage, you can look forward to comedy performances by Yoshimoto and FEC, a soap bubbles show, and a live musical performance by the group D-51!

We look forward to seeing you there!

Date: November 21st (Saturday) & November 22nd (Sunday) 2026

Place: Ginowan Seaside Park
